USA UnivQuest is proud of Vidhan Bhaiya who has not only reached his place but is making his dreams come true. At an age where many students are indecisive about their future Vidhan has proved that only one step at a time is required to reach the goals he has set for himself.  Vidhan was brilliant student at school in India; there is little wonder that he is the recipient of a research fellowship for his under graduation at Northeastern University, Boston, USA. Vidhan got his Northeastern University admit in the Fall of 2016. The offers did not stop there. He got admits from UC, Berkeley and Georgia Tech. He was interviewed at Stanford and at Harvard University. He is presently enrolled in chemical engineering with a full scholarship – till date the only student of ours to have achieved this.

A Multifaceted Personality

Vidhan has participated in almost all the events at school level and within the country. He is a sportsperson who participated, at school, in football events and chess tournaments. He was consistently, a keen debater, an avid quizzer and represented his school in quizzes in Chennai region, and an inspired musician. The list goes on...

Apart from all these activities he was a rank holder in the Science Olympiad and the Math Olympiad at regional level. His focus on his studies never wavered throughout his school life.

Vidhan Bhaiya was a two year-CRP student at USAUnivQuest. Needless to say, with his focus on studies, he achieved exemplary scores in the ACT and SAT exams. He took the SAT subject exams scoring a full 800 each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The 2018 Summer Scholars Independent Research Fellowship at Northeastern University:

At Northeastern University, Vidhan is a recipient of 2018 Summer Scholars Independent Research Fellowship for his project on diabetic dress shoes—combining medical performance with chic style.  The awards are given to students taking on research and creative projects requiring a high degree of independence and sophistication. The subject of these projects are varied from science to arts and history. Out of the many students involved in these projects only 27 have been chosen by the university and Vidhan is one of them. He has researched that many do not like to wear diabetic footwear because they lack style. So, Vidhan has created a prototype of diabetic dress shoes for men which has both aesthetics and medical performance. The next phase of his project would be to test it and make it suitable for commercialisation.  

Vidhan came to Chennai in 2017 for a break after completing a year of studies at the USA. We had organised an interactive session “Meet the Pathfinders” event where Vidhan addressed 200 persons. His address cleared a lot of myths about studying abroad at undergrad level. He had spoken about the opportunities that Indian students can avail even as they stay grounded and aim for the sky . Vidhan has been an inspiration to many other multifaceted students like him from India who would not mind breaking the barriers to launch their careers forward.

USA UnivQuest was launched by FIITJEE 1998. It began work in earnest, helping students to enter the portals of Ivy League universities in the USA, Canada and Singapore.
